As a passionate food critic who believes in holding restaurants to high standards, I recently had an experience at Marie’s Italian Deli that left much to be desired. After sharing my thoughts on Facebook, the conversation exploded—with over 100 responses ranging from agreement to pushback, including a defensive reply from the owner. But I believe in fairness, so today, I’m giving Marie’s a second chance. I’ll be returning for a fresh perspective, evaluating the atmosphere, service, and—most importantly—the food.
